Madonna is preparing to auction off a number of items used on her MDNA world tour to raise money for those affected by Hurricane Sandy, according to the New York Post.

The star is selling her stage outfits including a majorette costume and a caged basque she wore during the record-breaking tour. The Material Girl threw herself into the support effort for communities left devastated by the October superstorm, and she visited the neighborhood of Far Rockaway in New York to help relief workers box up supplies for locals.
Her daughter Lourdes, who accompanied the singer on the visit, blogged earlier this week about how she was left stunned by the amount of damage caused by the storm, likening the devastation to "the apocalypse."
