Madonna hopes to get in Vogue

MADONNA is launching a new fashion line worldwide next year, aimed at women aged 27 through 50, the 53-year-old pop diva and her corporate partner have said.

ENTITLED Truth Or Dare by Madonna, it comes after the success of her debut Material Girl label and will launch with a new perfume.

The new range will be aimed at a slightly older audience than her previous offerings and will target powerful, successful women aged Accessories are also planned in 2012 and will include footwear, handbags and underwear.

The news follows the announcement that the American singer signed a deal with brand management company, Iconix Brand Group.

"Over the past several years, I have been approached countless times to create my own brand," Madonna explained. "The timing is right and I have found great partners in Iconix, who can help translate my vision to reality.

Iconix are promising a line that encapsulates what Madonna stands for.

"The interest and excitement globally for brands developed by Madonna are significant," Iconix's CEO Neil Cole said

"After the highly successful launch of the junior brand Material Girl, we knew there would be a tremendous demand for a brand that Madonna herself is the face of and that truly captures her essence."
