MADONNA'S teen daughter Lourdes begged her mother to not credit her singing debut on hit-in-waiting Superstar, one of the stand-out tracks on new album MDNA.
The 15-year-old has inherited her mother's talent but not her love of the spotlight.
"Yes, she has an incredible voice, but she'll never admit it,'' Madonna revealed in an American radio interview.
"She's like `Mom, just take my name off the record.' I said, `Too late!'''

Her daughter will no doubt be the leading young lady of her extensive entourage for the MDNA world tour which will end in Australia in early 2013.
But don't expect to see her on stage unless she gets over that awkward teenager stage.
"Well, she's definitely going on tour with me. I have to keep my eye on her. She's 15. But she hasn't decided what she wants to do. This is how we roll. This is how a Libra rolls. They can never make up their minds,'' Madonna said.
"She plays the piano beautifully. She's an incredible singer. But she's going through that `I don't anyone to look at me' phase, so she might be doing hair and make-up or dressing people in the wardrobe department.''

MDNA, which is released on March 23, is a return to form for the 53-year-old pop innovator with half of the songs made for the dancefloor and the other half for pop radio.
The lyrics of several songs appear to address her break-up with film-maker husband Guy Ritchie for the first time, including Best friend, I F...ed Up and I Don't Give A.
"I tried to be the perfect wife, I diminished myself, It swallowed me, If I was a failure, Then I don't give a,'' she sings.
Her Madgesty co-wrote all the tracks on the album, working with old collaborator William Orbit, French electronic DJ and producer Martin Solveig, brother-in-law Joe Henry and pop prince Mika.
After completing work on her film W.E., Madonna said she immediately threw herself back into playing guitar and writing songs.
"I love the idea that, when it gets down to it, if everything goes tits-up, I can always grab a guitar and go on a corner. I can strum my guitar, and put my hat out there. There's something simple and primal and direct about playing guitar and singing,'' she said.
