Madonna flashed her right nipple to 55,000 fans in Turkey last week.

The singer was performing in Istanbul.

The 53-year-old singerpopped her goods out onstage in themainly Islamic countryduring hersong'Human Nature.'

The Material Girl was dressed androgynously, in a white work shirt and men's tailored trousersand proceeded to strip to her bra and pants. Afterteasing the audience, she flipped down herlacy bra to reveal her nipple.

Turkey is considered to be a more progressive Islamic country than most, yet despite this, recently a 16 year-old girl was buried alive by her male relatives for being seen talking to boys.

The Telegraph UKreports that Medine Memi was dead, buried alive by her father and grandfather.

Police made the discovery in December after a tip-off from an informant, the Turkish newspaper Hurriyet reported on its website.

The informantclaimed she waskilled following a family "council" meeting.

Media reports said the father and grandfather abused her for her familiar relations with the opposite sex.

Most disturbing, her death was slow and painful. A postmortem on the girl revealed large! amounts of soil in her lungs and stomach, indicating that she had been alive and conscious while being buried.

Medine's father is reported as saying at the time: "She has male friends. We are uneasy about that."
