Madonna's career has been nothing if not unpredictable, so why wouldn't her presidential endorsement be? As President Obama addressed the world at the DNC in Charlotte, Madonna showed her support for the POTUS while performing in front of a sold-out show at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx.

After finishing "Human Touch," Madonna stripped off her shirt to nothing but a bra and a giant "OBAMA" stamp scrawled across her lower back. Madonna's political statement did not without some perspective. She told the audience about how her travels on tour have made her appreciate what it means to be an American.

"It made me realize how lucky I am to be living here in America," she said before the crowd. "Thank god for Michelle Obama and her good-looking husband too. We are free. Do not, do not, do not take this freedom for granted because if you do for one second, you will lose it."

This isn't the first time on her MDNA tour Madonna's used her bare back to show solidarity with a political cause. While at a show in Moscow, Madonna ripped off her shirt to display "PUSSY RIOT," the Russian feminist punk band found guilty of trumped-up charges of "hooliganism."
