Madonna Finally Attempts To End Lady Gaga Feud: 'She's Got A Good Voice'
Sakura/WENN.comQueen of Pop Madonna has finally moved to end her on-going feud with her younger rival Lady Gaga, praising her singing vocals during an interview with Ellen DeGeneres earlier this week.
The 'Girl Gone Wild' singer sparked the public spat with 26-year-old Gaga in 2011 when she blasted the singer's single 'Born This Way', claiming it sounded "familiar" to her 1989 hit 'Express Yourself.'
However, Madge has clearly had a change of heart and has surprisingly extended the olive branch by actually giving praise to the 'You and I' singer, admitting that she thinks she's very talented.
"I know everyone's waiting on the edge of their seats for this so I'm playing this one out," Madonna told Ellen on her talk show this week.
She teasingly added: "Good voice."
It's not only Gaga's vocals that Madonna is impressed with, revealing that she even pays attention to her body art and admits that she has a favourite tattoo.
"She actually has a beautiful quote from (Rainer Maria) Rilke tattooed on her arm, which I like," Madonna added.
Madonna's comment may come as a surprise considering she made another jibe at Gaga in September while performing on her 'MDNA' tour.
"I love her. I love her. I do love her. Imitation is the highest form of flattery," the 54-year-old told the audience.
"And one day, very soon, we're gonna be on stage together. Just you wait."
The sparring pop hitmakers may actually have more in common than they realised, after it was announced that they both made the list of the best selling artists of all time.
While Madonna topped the list with 17.8 million singles, while Gaga comes in fifth position with 7.32 million. Also mak! ing the list are Rihanna, Kylie Minogue and the late Whitney Houston, rounding off the top five.
