Madonna angers some at Denver concert
DENVER - Madonna once again angered some fans in Colorado last night.
"Walked out of @Madonna! Too Satanic for me and opening song in Denver about murder ! Really! Go away @Madonna," Tweeted Hollie Houghtaling during the concert last night.
"Ten minutes into Madonna show, she's already pissed off Catholics and used AK-47's on the crowd, all while wearing mom jeans!!!," Tweeted Fox Sports Radio host Peter Burns.
Madonna performed at the Pepsi Center in Denver on Thursday night.
She is touring to support her latest album, MDNA. Wikipedia said, "The tour courted many controversial subjects such as violence, firearms, human rights, nudity and politics."
The concert's props came into question in July. Just hours after the deadly shooting at the Aurora movie theater, Madonna brought multiple gun props on stage at a concert in Edinburgh, Scotland.
"Madonna and her dancers using replica guns was always in bad taste but given what happened in Colorado it is even worse. She should know better," Mothers Against Guns told the Daily News after the July concert.
A video posted on YouTube shows Madonna and others performing on stage with guns. The video said it was from the Denver concert last night.
