Madonna's daughter Lola reveals cracked iPod as she shows off the contents of her handbag

Madonna's 16-year-old daughter Lourdes has revealed the contents of her handbag.

The brunette, known to friends and family as Lola, posted a photograph to herMaterial World fashion blog captioned 'A peep inside my bag if u care.'

She then labeled each of the items spilling out of her brown satchel including a Comme de Garons polka dot wallet, Carmex lip balm, a cracked iPod, hand sanitizer and cough drops.

Lourdes, who has been running the Eighties-inspired clothing and beauty brand Material Girl with her mother for the past two years, previously made it clear that despite her family's vast wealth she intends to forge her own way in life.

Last summer she took a job in the wardrobe department during Madonna's MDNA tour where found herself folding up sweaty underwear.

She wrote on her blog: This summer I was surprisingly productive. So, I thought I would tell you all about the joys of f! olding underwear. As you probably know this woman I like to call my mother went on tour for her MDNA album.

'As a summer job I decided to work in the wardrobe department. All of my friends were getting summer jobs and I wanted one too. Mine was a little unconventional but still a great experience and a lot of fun.

The teenager - whose father is personal trainer Carlos Leon - explained that despite being the bosss child, she still felt the pressure while carrying out the job.

She continued: Being in the wardrobe department meant me and a few other girls dressed the dancers during the show when they had quick changes.

Thirty seconds to totally dress a sweaty dancer can be insane and provoke mucho anxiety. Doing this night after night was pretty cray, but I loved every minute of it.

She is now gearing up for university and has her sights set on performing arts school Bard College, located in Red Hook, New York.

According to reports she is so desperate to be independent that she plans on paying her own way through college.
