Madonna has reportedly had a private tour of an Italian art museum after the gallery agreed to close its doors to regular visitors.

According to WENN, the queen of pop got the royal treatment after offering the world-famous Uffizi Gallery in Florence an undisclosed amount of money to enjoy the art in private.

Madge and her boyfriend Brahim Zaibat and son Rocco, as well as a fifteen-person entourage, are claimed to have spent a number of hours at the gallery during her visit to Italy last month.

Art expert Cristina Acidini, who acted as guide at the 16th century museum, told WENN: "Madonna was very interested in the works of Botticelli, but also in the explanations about the painting involving pagan and sacred myths."

Madonna - who is currently on her globe-trotting MDNA tour - recently made headlines in the Italian capital after exposing her bottom on stage.

The Hung Up superstar had previouslyflashed her nipple at a gig in Turkey.
