Madonna adds second show at X

As expected, tickets for Madonna's Nov. 3 stop at the Xcel Energy Center disappeared so quickly after going on sale Monday morning, a second show has been added Nov. 4.

Tickets for the Nov. 4 performance are priced from $355 to $45 and will go on sale at 10 a.m. March 5 through Ticketmaster.

Madonna, who hasn't performed in the Twin Cities for 25 years, has already added additional performances in numerous major markets, including Chicago, Los Angeles, Seattle and New York.

In other concert news:

--Madonna's Super Bowl Halftime collaborators, LMFAO, will launch their own tour this spring with Far East Movement, the Quest Crew, Sidney Samson, Eva Simmons and Natalia Kills. Tickets for the May 25 stop at the Target Center run from $99.50 to $35 and will go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday through Ticketmaster.

-- Tween favorites Big Time Rush will return to town July 28 to headline the Target Center. Tickets are priced from $65 to $25 and will go on sale March 10, with VIP packages available online via BigTimeTour.com. The Nickelodeon-reared boy band drew more than 10,000 fans to the Minnesota State Fair last summer.

-- Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Steve Winwood will play the Orpheum Theatre May 12. Tickets are priced at $65, $50 and $35 and will go on sale at 11 a.m. Friday through Ticketmaster.
